As expected, the Cleveland Cavaliers have waived veteran point guard Baron Davis with the amnesty clause.
Assuming that he's not going to be claimed by any teams, the Knicks have a chance at signing him. They have expressed interest in signing him at the veteran minimum. The Knicks only have two real point guards in Toney Douglas and Mike Bibby and could really use Davis.
However, the Knicks are also pursuing Jamal Crawford and Shawne Williams and don't have much cap space left after signing Tyson Chandler.
I hope that the Knicks can get Davis, Crawford, and Williams or at least 2 out of those 3 players. They would really help the Knicks out.

Have any thoughts on Baron Davis being waived by the Cavs? Will he sign with the Knicks? Will he be claimed off waivers by another team? Leave a comment below and tell me what you think.
