Ex-Knick Chauncey Billups Claimed Off Waivers by Clippers

Chauncey Billups, who was recently waived by the Knicks, has been claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Clippers.

Billups, 35, started 21 games with the Knicks after being acquired in the Carmelo Anthony trade. He was recently waived under the amnesty clause when the Knicks signed Tyson Chandler.

Recently, Billups has threatened to retire if a bad team claims him. I'm not sure how he will feel about playing with the Clips. Though they had a modest 32-50 record last season, they signed Caron Butler during the offseason and 2011 Rookie of the Year Blake Griffin can only get better.

Billups was rumored to be joining the Heat before being claimed by the Clippers.

Will Billups retire? How do you feel about Billups possibly playing with the Clippers? Leave a comment below and tell me what you think.
