Knicks Considering Signing Maurice Evans (as a 3rd or 4th Option)

If the Knicks can't sign Jamal Crawford or Shawne Williams (or Baron Davis), they are looking into the possibility of signing guard/forward Maurice Evans.

Evans, 33, split last season playing with the Hawks and the Wizards. He is known to play a more defensive game.

Personally, I will be upset if the Knicks end up signing Evans. I consider Crawford, Williams, and Davis to be much better choices than Evans.

The Knicks need to keep their eyes on the prizes: Jamal Crawford, Shawne Williams, and Baron Davis. And if they can't get any of those three guys, there are many players that I'd want the Knicks to sign before Evans: Gilbert Arenas, Hilton Armstrong, Talor Battle, Earl Boykins, Antonio Daniels, Evan Fjeld, Scotty Hopson, Josh Howard, Allen Iverson, Darnell Jackson, Rashad McCants, Jamario Moon, James Posey, Jacob Pullen, Theo Ratliff, Michael Redd, Joe Smith, DeShawn Stevenson, Peja Stojakovic, Reggie Williams.......you get the point.

Have any thoughts on Maurice Evans possibly signing with the Knicks? Leave a comment below and tell me what you think.
